The Strapping owls are a tuba-bassed power-trio for the ages who throw down electric-blues, funk, jazz and soul. Their collection of original songs are seasoned with inspired improvisational jams, all melding into their own brand of “live-wire soul.”


Nicholas Barron delivers deep blues tones with his soul grabbing voice, dynamic guitar and heartfelt lyrics, pulsed forward with driving, colorful drumming from Larry Beers and the groove making, funky, rock and roll sousaphone of Fred Bueltmann.
